We have 2 tiers for data recovery. The difference between the tiers is whether internal parts need to be replaced inside the drive or not.
Both of our recovery tiers offer “No Data, No Charge” guarantee. If we are not successful in recovering data from your drive, there is no charge for the attempt. We do not charge diagnostic fees or attempt fees on recoveries.
$399 Tier 1 Data Recovery
If internal parts do not need to be replaced in order to recover the data, the total for the recovery is $399.
Types of recovery included in Tier 1:
- Bad Sectors or Bad Blocks
- Stuck Heads
- Firmware Issues
This tier is by far the most common if the drive has not been dropped. If your drive has not been dropped, there is an 85% chance that this is the tier that will be needed to get your data recovered.
$699 Tier 2 Data Recovery
If internal parts do need to be replaced in order to recover the data, the total for the recovery is $699.
Types of recovery included in Tier 2:
- Failed Preamp
- Bad Heads
- Internal Parts Needed
If your drive was dropped and no longer works properly, it is very likely that you will need a Tier 2 data recovery. Sometimes with dropped drives Tier 1 is all that is needed, but usually Tier 2 is required.
